What We Do

  • Our Mission

To feed Hawaii’s hungry by turning invasive threats into sustainable food resources. We do this by feeding and supporting Hawaii Charter Schools, Kupuna, and non-profits working to restore traditional farming methods, cultural sites and removal of invasives flora and fauna. We hunt, fish, gather and work with local farmers, and landowners growing Hawaiian food staples, we then make Hawaiian food and donate it to organizations and people in need.

    FOOD HUB

Providing a retail space, lab, and manufacturing facility supporting small farmers, ranchers, fisher people and producers to launch and test their products into the retail market. We are building capacity through hands-on education that includes lab testing, nutrition labels, recipes (ramping up recipes) for value added products, bottling, packaging, design, websites, food safety HACCP Certification.

We have led the effort to create sustainable food from invasives species.

SOME OF OUR WORKS

  • We have turned 10,000 Molokai Axis deer into a sustainable food source for markets, restaurants and as jerky for shelf stability and placing in retail outlets.

  • We have been at the forefront of turning land threats into sustainable natural food resources.

  • Feeding the hungry on different islands by volunteering, gifting foods and collaboration with other non-profits.

  • Restoring historical sites, fishponds, kalo farms, and natural parks.

  • Launched over 36 products into retail market using local sourced farm produce and proteins.

  • Consulting with major retail chains to include local foods in their menu for mass market.

“We become self-sustaining by creating shelf stable delicious and marketable foods from invasives and turn negatives into positive opportunities for hunters, farmers, fishers and gatherers.”
